The Simply Quartet is currently studying with Prof. Johannes Meissl at the Joseph Haydn Institute for Chamber Music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
At the 2017 Haydn Competition in Vienna Simply Quartet was awarded both First Prize and special prizes for the best interpretation of a work by Haydn, and the best interpretation of the competition’s commissioned work. In 2018 the quartet won First Prize in the International Schubert and Modern Music Chamber Music Competition. It has received prizes at Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition, Irene Steels Wilsing Competition in Heidelberg, Shanghai Chamber Music Competition, Beijing International Quartet Competition, Casinos Austria Rising Star Award 2017, ECMA Prize, Artis Quartet-Prize and Wiener Classic Prize of the ISA (the International Summer Academy of the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna).
The Simply Quartet has performed in the Wiener Musikverein and Konzerthaus, the Casa da Musica in Portugal, Rachmaninov Hall in Moscow, Wigmore Hall (ECMA showcase), the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, the Berlin Konzerthaus, the Stefanien Hall in the Congress in Graz, Kamermusik Souvenir in Tilburg, the Emergents Festival in Barcelona and concerts throughout Austria in connection with Jeunesses Musicales.
The Simply Quartet has participated in festivals such as the Pablo Casals Festival, the Shanghai Chamber Music Festival, the Styrian Chamber Music Festival, Allegro Vivo in Austria and the Ghent Festival in Belgium and became a member of ECMA (the European Chamber Music Academy) in 2017.
